LEGO MODEL DESIGNERS

Have you ever been to Legoland and wondered who designs and makes all of the amazing Lego creations?

Well, that’s exactly what the children at The Queen Anne wondered- so we decided to ask the experts!

On Friday,  we welcomed Giorgio and Oscar from the Lego Design team to The Queen Anne.

The children found out about the whole design process and what’s involved in the construction of the models.

Giorgio and Oscar said that they need to use their listening, thinking, reading, writing, maths and art skills every day. They said that being able to work as part of a team was essential as they often work on projects with teams all around the world.

As you can imagine, the children had lots of questions. The children are very excited about the thought of spotting one of models built by Giorgio and Oscar the next time that they visit Legoland.

Huge thanks go to Giorgio and Oscar for giving us a glimpse into the life of a Lego Designer and inspiring us to become designers too!
