The Most Wonderful Time of the Year

We all enjoyed a busy Christmas Week at The Queen Anne.  Amidst the glitter, tinsel and other Christmas traditions, the true meaning of Christmas was celebrated throughout the school.

Nativity

The children and staff worked hard to put together a wonderful Nativity.

Angels, donkeys, sheep, Joseph, Mary, inn keepers, narrators, the Year 3 and Year 4 choir and a very peaceful baby Jesus, all came together to create a magical Nativity.

We were delighted to be able to share the Nativity with a live audience this year. Huge thanks to all the members of staff worked with the children to produce such a lovely retelling of the Nativity.

Joint Worship with Soho Parish Primary School

On Wednesday, Year 2, Year 3 and Reverend Sally held a joint worship with Soho Parish Primary.

It was a wonderful opportunity for the children to share their experiences of Christmas in Windsor and find out about Christmas at school in London.

Year 4 Performance at St George’s Hall

On Monday, the Year 4 children performed a number of Christmas songs in front of the magnificent 20-foot-high Nordmann Fir tree in St George’s Hall.

Parents and visitors to the castle enjoyed the performance.

It was a lovely opportunity for the children to perform to a large audience and celebrate Christmas through song with the wider community

Father Christmas

On Tuesday, we had a special visitor. Father Christmas came to see the children and brought with him a selection of lovely gifts for each class.

Thanks go to Father Christmas for fitting us in to his busy Christmas schedule and for the thoughtful gifts for each class.

Christmas Lunch

One Wednesday, the whole school enjoyed a wonderful Christmas lunch. Thanks go to the cooks who provided a delicious Christmas lunch today.

We gave thanks, not just for our Christmas lunch, but also for being able to enjoy our delicious school lunches each and every school day.

Our Wonderful School Cook

It was lovely to see the children enjoying their lunch and wearing their Christmas hats and jumpers.

Christmas Service at All Saints Church

On Thursday, the whole school community joined to gather to celebrate Christmas at All Saints Church, Windsor.

Each class performed a song and Reverend Sally led the blessings and prayers.

It was wonderful to gather together in church as a whole school family.
