LITTER PICKERS

LITTER PICKERS

Inspired by the Nature Club talk in Collective Worship this morning, a group of 10 children, including the Nature Club team, decided to spend their playtime litter picking around the school groups. They were soon busy at working as a team with the litter-pickers.

Look at just how much litter was collected in a short space of time.

The team told me that they think that some of the litter may have been blown into the school grounds over the fence and some may be from outdoor packed lunches.

The team plan to keep an eye out for litter and ask the outdoor packed lunch people to make sure that their litter either goes in a bin or back into their lunch box to take home. Thank you to all of the litter pickers!

Nature Club

Nature Club

On Friday 30th September, a group of Year 4 children, who were interested in the environment, decided to create a Nature Club and designed some eye-catching posters in their Golden Time.

They were so passionate about the subject, that Mrs Street asked the children to tell the whole school about their Nature Club in Collective Worship. They asked the children to have a look at their posters, which are displayed around the school, to remind everyone to think about our environment.

We are very excited to welcome you all to The Queen Anne family.  Please follow the link to see all relevant information:  Welcome information..
