Racing into the Autumn Term

A wonderful start to the Autumn Term

With smiling faces at the gates, the familiar hum of learning in the classrooms and the happy rhythm of school life returning, the start of the Autumn Term has been a wonderful one.

It was particularly lovely to welcome our new Reception children and their families to The Queen Anne family. Our youngest pupils have begun to settle into new routines, make new friendships and grow in confidence, with children skipping through the gates in the morning and heading home with a smile at the end of the day.

Across our school, there has been so much to discover and enjoy – from learning in the classroom and making the most of our beautiful outdoor spaces, to getting stuck into sport and embarking on our new writing curriculum.

And, of course, hearing the children sing The Queen Anne School Song once again was a particularly moving reminder of the pride, belonging and community that make our school so special.

A wonderful beginning to what promises to be a very special year for all.
