School Day Information

Start of the Day

Bikes and scooters should be stored safely at the front of the school in the designated storage area.

Drop & Stop is available from 8:00am each morning.

Our school gates open at 8:40am, with the registration period beginning at 8.45 a.m. Children are warmly welcomed into school. This provides a calm and settled start to the day, helping children arrive ready and prepared to engage fully in their learning.

Morning Learning

The morning is dedicated to high-quality teaching and learning, with a strong focus on phonics, reading, writing and mathematics. Carefully sequenced lessons build knowledge, deepen understanding and foster curiosity, while ensuring every child is appropriately supported and challenged.

Break & Lunchtime

Mid-morning break provides an important opportunity for rest, play and social development.

At lunchtime, pupils enjoy a nutritious meal and time with friends in a safe, well-supervised environment, helping to develop positive social skills and independence.

Afternoon Learning 

The afternoon continues with a rich and varied curriculum, including foundation subjects and wider learning experiences that nurture creativity, confidence and character alongside academic achievement.

End of the Day & Wraparound Care

The school day ends at 3:15pm, when pupils are safely collected from designated areas.

External clubs run from 3.15 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. 

Stay & Play is available daily until 6 p.m. to support working families and provide additional supervised activities in a relaxed setting.

Children head home having experienced a full, balanced and enriching school day, combining academic learning, personal development and wider opportunities.
