Our Curriculum

Our curriculum combines high academic ambition with the distinctive opportunities of our unique setting, inspiring children to develop a lifelong love of learning. From Reception to Year 4, every stage is carefully designed to build exceptional foundations in reading, writing and mathematics while nurturing curiosity across a broad and engaging curriculum.

Learning is thoughtfully sequenced so that knowledge builds progressively, enabling pupils to develop deep understanding, fluency and confidence. Alongside the core subjects, a rich and varied foundation curriculum encourages children to think critically, make meaningful connections and discover new interests.

Our beautiful grounds are an integral part of our school, where learning comes alive through exploration, investigation and hands-on experiences in nature. A vibrant co-curricular programme further enriches school life, fostering creativity, resilience, teamwork and confidence while encouraging every child to discover and develop their individual talents.

Throughout their journey at The Queen Anne, pupils are challenged to think independently, embrace new opportunities and take ownership of their learning. They leave us as articulate, inquisitive and self-assured young people, equipped with the knowledge, character and confidence to thrive in the next stage of their education and beyond.
