Governance
Welcome to the Governors of The Queen Anne Royal Free CE Controlled First School in Windsor.
The Queen Anne forms part of the Royal Free Foundation, which originated in 1705 to bring education to the children of Windsor.
We are a Church of England Controlled School which liaises with both the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead Children’s Services and the Oxford Diocese Board of Education.
The Governors are drawn from the local authority, the diocese, the Royal Free Foundation, parents and the community, together with members of the school staff. There are at present ten members of the Governing Body.

Governance Structure
The Governors meet as a Full Governing Body (FGB) ten times per year, with no sub-committees in operation.
